100% Pure Fruit Pigmented Cherry Lip & Cheek Stain

We love the simplicity of a lip stain. You only need to apply them once and they last for a long period of time. You can also layer over them with a clear lipgloss for a glam look or chapstick for nourishment. This lip stain has great ingredients, 100% Pure is known for premium ingredients and using pigments from real fruits like beets, blueberries, and pomegranates versus chemical colorants. The scent/flavor is not our favorite though, it is a bit bitter when you taste it on your lips. It also takes about 20 minutes to dry and absorb for optimal lip color. It does also wash off faster than other stains with eating or drinking. The product claims to be for your lips and your cheeks however when applied to the cheeks it’s difficult to get even distribution and can appear blotchy. We would compare the consistency to watercolor paint which can be neat if that’s the look you are trying to achieve. The color is also a very nice cherry red shade. Overall this is a great option for those looking for a natural lip stain but we would not suggest it for long wear nor for your cheeks. At $26 it’s worth a try to amp up your lip color and opt for a better alternative than traditional chemical lip stains which tend to contain toxic ingredients like alcohol, fragrances, talc, chemical dyes, and more.
