Press on Black Nails on Womans Hand

While we all love our salon time let’s be honest, we don’t have the time to get a fresh manicure as often as we would like, am I right? If you’re like us at Keyglam, we’re gals on the go, but that doesn’t mean we should sacrifice having un-kept nails either. Enter – Press on Nails to the rescue!

During our frequent beauty runs we’ve tried many press on nail brands with one significantly standing out. For instant gratification, Static Nails is by far one of our favorite press on nail brands for fresh daily nails. With a large selection of shapes, colors and patterns these nails are simple to apply, remove and reuse.

Application

The first time we tried them, within minutes we had a full manicure! All we had to do was prep the cuticles, pick the nail sizes, apply the nail lacquer, press-on the nails and let the lacquer to dry and within 15 minutes, and voila –  a beautiful set of nails appeared!

Removal

When it came to removing them, soaking the nails in warm water for a couple minutes seemed to work best and they easily popped off. There was some residue left from the glue left on the nails which came off easily with traditional nail polish remover and the rest peeled off. Our real nails were left undamaged!

Reuse

Reusing the nails was a simple process, you simply follow the same process as the initial application; however, the pop on nails aren’t in the same out-of-the-box shape the second use. We would not recommend using more than 2-3 times since the lacquer can get thick on the press on nail and harder to apply after multiple uses and the nails tend to get more fragile after the first use.

Some of our favorite styles are below:

How long do they last?

On their website they recommend 18 days as the optimal usage; however, we tested the coconut coffin set we were able to leave on for about a month without any issues! Depending on how you care for your nails results can vary.

How much do they cost?

With the average cost of manicures around $20-$50, these nails are a huge savings, their sets cost anywhere from $14 – $16.

We love these nails because the brand has done an amazing job matching their product to real nails, they’re easy to use, cruelty free, vegan, and reusable. So, skip the lines at the salon and give Static Nails a try!
